❗ I’m in my right to reject a commission if I don’t feel comfortable or if I don’t feel confident to achieve what you ask for. If you are not sure whether I can decline your application or not, you can ask me first, don’t be afraid to go wild with your ideas!

The pricing categories and examples are simply starting points. Sometimes your project will not fit strictly into these categories. I’m open to adjust costs and options to better reflects your ideas.

Character sheets, sketches pages, comic pages can be discussed ;).

Process

You must send your request through a Google form, the link is at the end. All communication will be via email.

First of all, you must be very specific with what you have in mind, if possible, you can send a simple sketch (it can be stick figures, it’s not obligatory though), as many references as necessary (pose, clothes, accessories, hairstyle, colors, etc) photos and descriptions are ideal, also be very clear with the expressions of the characters and general tone of your idea, that is vital importance. The most references the better (you can send a bunch of photos, a pdf file, a link to drive, link to pinterest, etc).

Based on what you have in mind and my base price list we can agree on the final price.

The default background color is white, anyhow if there is no specification I can take the liberty of leaving it blank, or place a tone or subtle texture that in my opinion suits it (with no charge), in any case you can comment and change it at any time.

Please consider that will be extra fee over the base price for every add-on:

  • Complex/detailed background
  • Ornaments
  • Complex clothes/design
  • Complements and props (weapons, wings, vehicles, etc)
  • Pets/ animals/ creatures

The fee can go from $5USD + depending on complexity. I will let you know if any of the elements in your description applies to any extra fee, you can change your original idea.

Payment

After you have sent the form, I will contact you with the estimated price and once that we are OK with the price (at this stage you can still decline your request), I will send a PayPal invoice.

The payment can be split in two payments if the client requests it, first payment being before starting the sketch and second payment once the illustration is finished. The commission can be paid upfront too. Please note that I will not start any commission without receiving some sort of payment first.

There a no refunds once I have started working.

Sketch, revisions and delivery

Once I receive the payment and confirmation I will start working, and in the following days you will be receiving a sketch with the general idea for your approval.

I try to be in constant communication with my clients, in order to give feedback to the progress of the piece and to adapt it to what you have in mind. You will be receiving my updates till I reach the final piece.

Keep in mind that I work on multiple commissions and personal projects at the same time, I ask for your patience if I delay to give you updates.

There a total of three stages, two revisions on every stage as maximum, don’t be afraid to provide feedback.

*In case you want a major color change or if you want to add another elaborated detail not specified in your original idea after sending the final sample, an extra fee will be discussed.

The final artwork can take from 20 to 35 BUSINESS days to be finished after the payment is done, depending on difficulty, our speed of response (consider we might live in different time zones), external factors that we cannot control and the number of changes or adjustments you may request.

For sketches the final work can take from 5 to 10 BUSINESS days.

If for any reason I need more time to finish I will let you know in advance.

Final work delivered through e-mail:

  • A4 size file (8.25×11.75 inch)
  • High Quality JPG at 300 DPI RGB
  • PSD file if requested by client

*The image size can change if the composition requires, you can ask for it from the beginning, or I can suggest it during the sketching process, if you want an exact measurement, please let me know.

You will have the right to:

  • Freely post the final artwork on your social media.
  • Print the artwork for personal use.

The following is considered copyright infringement:

  • Reproducing/using the artwork commercially.
  • Claiming the artwork as your own.
  • Altering the artwork without my consent.
  • Removing my signature/watermark.
  • Using the artwork in any AI training.

Commercial Rights

For commercial projects please write directly to my email.

For commercial projects there’s different percentage fees over the price. 30%, 50% and 100 % etc depending on the usage.

An agreement will be written and then signed by both parties to set deadlines, usage, payment, delivery and grant rights.
